| Purpose | The agency is responsible for planning, warning, response and recovery in man-made or natural disasters. The agency encompasses both Emergency Management & Homeland Security issues and is responsible for coordinating all emergencies and disasters in the community. |
| Services | Preparedness, warning and recovery in dealing with natural or man-made disasters. Training is held for emergency response agencies in dealing with hazardous material spills and tornado spotting. Programs are presented in area schools on tornado awareness. Programs given to civic groups dealing with any potential disaster the community could encounter. Agency heads coordination among all emergency agencies in the event of a disaster. Activates siren system for tornado warning. |

| Other Info | Biggest responsibility is weather watch. Agency has direct link to North Webster weather service radar and is utilized during storms. Requests are made to county fire department and law enforcement agencies and amateur radio personnel to track storms and report to coordinate with radar. |
